So, you’ve got this far, congratulations!
We hope that means you are thinking of joining us on one of our guided tours.
But before you do, for full transparency, due to our own experiences, we need to state some fairly obvious disclaimers.
We will ask you to sign a Moto Culture Tours France liability waiver form.
This states, among other things, that you agree we, Moto Culture Tour France, take no responsibility for the motorcycle you ride, for any damage encountered or running repairs made to the motorcycle to keep you moving on the tour. Any repair work will be paid for by the individuals were parts are required, including punctures or new tyres.
It includes that we take no responsibility for any damage to yourself, your passengers, other participants of the tour, including any first aid administered, to you or the general public.
We take no responsibility for any traffic violations of any description that you may encounter.
We take no responsibility for you riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs (recreational or medicinal, prescribed or otherwise), including the morning after, and including passengers.
We take no responsibility for the hire of the motorcycle, the contract with the provider, or any dispute you may encountered during or at the end of the hire period with the provider.
All motorcycle hire, clothing, luggage and equipment will be the responsibility of the pilot/rider and passengers at all times.
Liability for the bikes and individuals inclusive of, but not limited to, insurance of the bikes and individuals inclusive of repatriation to home country, breakdown cover, international visas and passports, arrival and departures, inclusive of all luggage and personal effects, is the responsibility of each individual person signing on to the Tour, pilot, rider or passenger.
The following are mandatory (but not limited) requirements while riding in France, Spain and Andorra:
Valid Motorcycle Insurance will be necessary.
Valid Health Insurance will be necessary, including repatriation of yourself and passenger, no matter what the circumstances.
Valid Driving Licence will be necessary for the rider/pilot.
CE Approved Gloves and Helmets will be necessary.
It is a legal requirement to carry photo ID at all times.
It is a legal requirement to carry drivers licence, motorcycle registration, MOT and insurance documents while riding the motorcycle.
It is a legal requirement to carry reflective jackets for rider and passenger on the motorcycle.
There will other aspects that we’ve not captured here and therefore take no responsibility for an incomplete list.
