What can you expect?
Days in the saddle are not designed to be long with plenty of stops for photos, leg stretching, chatting, refreshments and absorbing where you are. Historic commentary and understanding the local culture is part of the passion so we’ll introduce you to the different aspects, landmarks and history of the regions and departments in which you pass through.
Days may include stops at castles for a tour by local guides, an afternoon and evening at a winery, a spa hotel to rest weary bones, historic abbeys, medieval villages, mountain gorges and rivers, the Little Yellow Train ride, eating alfresco, local markets, picnics by rivers, passing streams and waterfalls, and the food, wonderful wonderful food all with the backdrop of the Pyrenees Mountains.
The tours are suitable for a more relaxed style of riding so for those with speed and ‘getting your knee down’ requirements we can recommend other tour operators to indulge your passions.
